Education Program

It is a requirement of the BC Adoption Act that all prospective adoptive parents complete an adoption education program.

Sunrise’s Adoption Education Program is available online through our website and may be completed at the family’s own pace. Families can supplement this information with in-person classes offered by the Adoptive Families Association of BC.

Our Adoption Education Program is truly a combination of what we have learned over 25 years combined with links to the latest information and thinking in adoption. It is very interactive with information on the web.
