Adopting A Step-Child

 

Often parents who are in a second relationship would like to have their new spouse or partner adopt their child from a previous marriage or relationship. These can be simple or sometimes complex from a legal point of view. Step-parent adoption requires an application to the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
